CrossPoint
Baptist Church, originally Bible Baptist Church, was founded in 1968 by
Rev. Mel Brindley, Sr., his wife and several other couples. God blessed
and in 1971 the construction of a new church building was completed in
Wall Township. Over the next 3 decades God blessed the church seeing
many people trust Jesus Christ as their Saviour and hundreds of
children coming to church each week thru a bus ministry to hear about
Jesus. In 1996 the old church building was sold and the church began a
new leg of it's journey. In 1997, after nearly 30 years of faithful
service, Pastor Mel Brindley retired. It was then that God called Rev
Dan Brindley to lead us as our pastor.
In May
of 2005 after meeting in High school auditoriums and rented church
buildings for several years God blessed us with a new church facility.
It was then that CrossPoint Baptist church was established. As our
journey continues, the church, the people of CrossPoint, strive to
fulfill the purpose God has set before us - to reach out to others with
the message of hope and purpose that can only come through knowing
Christ.
